At Cedar Street, we want to equip and partner with parents in the discipleship of their children to know the one true God. To that end, we have age appropriate classes and fun activities from birth through fifth grade to help children learn in engaging ways that they were made by a God who loves them and wants to have a relationship with them through Jesus Christ.
Nursery:
Even our tiniest members have a place to come and worship at Cedar Street Baptist Church. Our nursery staff are trained and equipped to be able to meet the growing needs of children. We have two nursery classes: INFANTS is from birth to 12 months and then moving up on first birthday. TODDLERS is for children one and two years old and then moving up on third birthday. We cherish the opportunity to love these children and help them know the love of Christ at the earliest age.
Tiny Tots:
We believe that at even a young age, children can hear and grow in their understanding of the gospel through the repetition of the Story of Christ. With that goal in mind, our Tiny Tot teachers aim to teach children who are three & four years old the stories of the Bible in fun and various ways to help them learn that there is a God who loves them. Our hope is that as they mature, the lessons taught here will be a foundational stone in their walk with the Lord.
Children's Church:
During our Sunday morning worship hour, children from kindergarten through third grade are dismissed prior to the sermon to Children’s Church. This is a time for children to hear a short, age-appropriate message from our amazing volunteer teachers who help the children to know the love of God and be transformed by the gospel. Children will also play games and receive a small snack during this time. *NOTE* There will be NO Children's church on every 5th Sunday.
CS|Kids:
Our CS|kids program is the heart of our children’s ministry at CSBC. This program meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for three year olds through fifth graders. The goal of our CS|kids program is to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As our children are being transformed by the gospel, our hope is they will carry the good news of that message beyond the four walls of the church.

VBS (Vacation Bible School):
Our Vacation Bible School is a ONE-DAY program that allows children three years old through fiftth grade to engage in the stories of the Bible in fun and exciting ways. There is a different theme each year, but the goal remains the same: help boys and girls of our community come to understand and know the love of God displayed in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
